I find schubertii worth the trouble of replanting it every few years. The two I find reliable, returning year after year, are drumstick and nectaroscordum (these even naturalize). I’ve had the most success with Lysimachia ‘Aurea’ as a ground cover they will come up through pretty consistently.

The textures and colors seem perfectly balanced.

I don’t have much experience with Allium but planted a “set” of Allium Nigrum and Allium Atropurpureum this year, but they’re just starting to bud.
