  1. beautiful Christina, I saw the seedhaed for this plant in a book last year so did a search for it, I was pleased to see Beth Chatto sold it so I included it in my autumn order, it’s growing well and the buds have started pushing up, I hope to enjoy the flowers in the real in a month or so, I’m looking forward to the seedheads too, a beautiful all rounder, Frances

    • I have to admit I really craved to have this Allium, but all the other years it has grown with very curved stems, I’ve no idea why. In truth the colour is too subtle for the light here. Christina

  2. Beautiful photos Christina. Just waiting for mine to open and hoping that they will scatter a few more seedlings around this year.

    • From the name you’d expect the bees although I can’t say I’ve noticed many bees on mine, perhpas there are too many other flowers demanding attention. Christina
