The rain came to nothing, just a few drops. But it has been windy since last evening. It is a little calmer now (21.30) so perhaps it won’t be so cold tomorrow. Reply

Lovely! Despite our lucky winter rain, I’m beginning to wonder if any of my own bearded Iris will bloom this year. Reply
I wonder if the lack of flowers is due to your warm winters rather than rain. Mine seem to have more flowers this year and it was s very cold winter. Reply
It is always one of the first to flower and for the last two years has flowered again in autumn, although with only one or two stems. Reply
