In a vase on Monday – Dark and moody

I didn’t think I was going to be able to participate in Cathy at Rambling in the Garden’s meme this week as I am not at home; however the lovely friend I’m staying with allowed me to pick some flowers from her beautiful garden in North Devon.

It was a pleasure to be able to use some different foliage and flowers.

It is decidedly autumn with lovely dark Asters. Behind you can see my friends garden

It is very windy today so being inside admiring the garden from behind glass is a lovely thing to do.

I’ve used my iPad for this post and I’m not familiar with this method so please forgive the lack of tags and the link to Cathy.

  1. The purple grass is quite surprising, it must look great in the garden. The iPad has a few glitches with WordPress but it is handy for blogging in bed 🙂

  2. Grande Christina che non perdi il tuo appuntamento con il blog neanche quando sei lontana!!! hai ragione bellissime le foglie scure, e bellissima la composizione che guarda al giardino dal quale viene. Bravissima! complimenti alla tua amica per il giardino!

  3. Christina love the dark colors of this magnificent flower arrangement. The dark herbs are beautiful and divine. I love the flowers. I’m glad you’re having a good time with your friends. By the way the view of the garden is lovely. Greetings from Margarita.

  4. That really does look autumny – I really love those dark Asters. I don’t think I have ever seen any that colour before. Hope the weather improves for the rest of your stay Christina!
