    • True; I see more butterflies on the Verbena than anything else in the garden. The spring rain (and today) have encouraged more of mine to germinate and those that are there are much taller than other years.

    • Here, there seem to be more butterflies than usual; that could be because in the fiends around us there are no native weeds allowed to grow any more so they have to find the flowers in my garden instead.

  1. Christina is a wonderful picture. With the few butterflies that remain, your garden is an oasis for them and for pollinators. The Verbena bonariensis is beautiful but it is very nice to see how the butterfly feeds on it, I love it. I really like that you have many butterflies in your garden: it must be wonderful. Have a very good week and weekend. 🙂 Take care. Greetings from Margarita.

      • Christina with the bad weather that has been raining every day there has not been a butterfly. Yesterday and today it has not rained but there are no flowers because the roses are late and have no buds and the lavender is starting to spit. The Honeysuckle japonica has not bloomed and the Rosa canina has not. But there are usually not many butterflies, what I do have are many bees. I will have to plant next year a plant that attracts butterflies because I love them. Have a good weekend. Take care. Greetings from Margarita.
