I don’t often join with Chloris at the Blooming Garden when she writes about her favourite 10 plants for each month; however I think it is a good exercise to understand what pleasures each month brings. Continue reading

In a Vase on Monday – Generous
As always Monday brings the opportunity to create a vase from flowers in our own gardens. I am lucky that on this last Monday in October there is still plenty of choice for my vases and enough for bouquets to give as gifts. Continue reading
In a Vase on Monday – the same but different
Finding material from the garden to join Cathy at Rambling in the Garden for her weekly challenge is becoming harder each week. But I did find something to add a little interest to the evergreen foliage of two weeks ago. Continue reading

What will you choose today? Continue reading

In a vase on Monday – Orange yet again

Yes, in a way I do feel that these vases are a gift to Cathy and all those who join her meme; they are also a gift to me as I’m sure sometimes I would think I was too busy to pick flowers just for myself. Today is a good example; I have a dental appointment and lots to plant in the garden so without Cathy I wouldn’t have produced this arrangement. Continue reading
